Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CodeCelest handles data, code execution, and cookies.

What we collect

CodeCelest is designed to minimize collection. We may collect basic operational data such as request logs and performance metrics needed to keep the service reliable.

Code execution and storage

Your code is executed in a sandboxed environment (client-side or via a remote execution service depending on language). We do not store your code by default.

If you choose to use explicit sharing/import features, code snippets may be stored for that purpose and may expire.

Local storage

The editor may store preferences (such as theme, font size, open files, and last selected language) locally in your browser using localStorage to improve user experience.

Third-party services

Some languages may rely on third-party execution backends. These providers may receive your code and input solely to execute and return output. Review their policies if you plan to run sensitive code.

Security

We use isolation and time limits to reduce risk from untrusted code execution. However, no system is perfectly secure. Do not submit secrets (API keys, passwords) into the editor.
